The AJK Police Department job posting is seeking candidates for hiring Police Officers and Stenographers. The AJK Police Department is recruiting this personnel for the Reserves and Ranger Department.
Vacant Positions:
Matrix and Intermediate Pass candidates are eligible for this recruitment but must meet the physical and skill requirements as per the eligibility terms and conditions provided in the advertisement.
Residents of Sidhnoti, Rawalot, Mirpur AJK, Kotli, Muzaffarabad, Neelum, Jhelum Valley, Bagh, Haveli, and Bhimber are eligible to participate in this recruitment.
Stenographers:
- Intermediate with a speed of at least 80/40 wpm in English shorthand and typing and 70/40 wpm in Urdu shorthand and typing, respectively.
- Intermediate with a minimum 6-month short course in Windows, MS (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access), and Urdu Composition from a recognized institute with at least English/Urdu typing speed of 40 words per minute.
- Age limit: 18 to 40 years old
Police Constables:
- Age limit: 18 to 28 years old
- Educational qualifications: matriculation
- Height: 5 feet 7 inches for men and 5 feet 2 inches for women
- Chest: 33 to 34.5 with 1.5-inch expansion – Men Only
- Race: 1.6 kilometers in 7 minutes for men and 1 kilometer in 9 minutes for women
