POF Artisan Jobs 2022 Training Program Details

Successful candidates will undergo 18 months of training at the Pakistan Ordinance Factory Institute of Technology (POFIT) in Wah Cantt under the provisions of the Apprentices Ordinance, 1962.

Those selected will also be paid a monthly stipend. The detail of the monthly stipend is also described on the POF website. Uniforms and stationery will be provided free of charge to artisans during training.

Under the provisions of the Apprenticeship Regulations 1966, the employer is not required to offer the apprentice a job. However, a limited number of the top successful apprentices may be placed on merit at BPS-5 (Skilled Worker) based on POF requirements. There will also be a provincial quota for newcomers.
