The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) is a government agency responsible for contracting and managing the services of the provincial public services and administrative services in the province of Punjab, Pakistan.
Established in April 1937, the Punjab Public Service Commission is the oldest Provincial Public Service Commission in Pakistan. It was established under the Punjab Public Service Commission Ordinance, 1978, and is currently operating under the ambit of the Punjab Public Service Commission Ordinance, 1978 and the Punjab Public Service Commission (Duties) Rules, 1979.
Select and recommend suitable candidates through expeditious, transparent,, and merit-based processes to promote excellence, professionalism a, and competence in the Punjab public service and to advise the government.
Through PPSC, the Punjab Department of Higher Education has announced 551 new PPSC faculty positions including female faculty and male faculty positions. Teachers of biology, economics, psychology, education, history, Islamic studies, and physical education are needed.
Minority and Special Person quotas are reserved. Desired educators who have a Master’s Degree (at least 2nd Division) in the relevant subject can apply for these PPSC jobs. The age limit, including general relaxation, for women, is 21 to 38 years old and for male applicants, it is 21 to 35 years old.
