The Commission is currently operating under Article 242 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. It has been given autonomy in its work under the Business Rules of 1973 and the FPSC Regulations of 1978.
Currently, the FPSC is looking to hire applications from Pakistani citizens based on given provincial quotas for hiring assistants, statistician assistants, stenographers, data entry operators, lower division clerks, drivers, chowkidar, and naib qasida.
