The Punjab Government has decided to introduce online system.net to obtain driving licenses online from home. Inspector General of Punjab Police Dr. Usman Anwar says online student applications will be live tomorrow afternoon on Sunday, along with the online installation of regular licenses. Renewal, duplicate, and international license facilities will be available on December 17.
According to details, IG Punjab Police Dr. Usman Anwar, along with Chairman Punjab Information Technology Board, said that the Punjab government has decided to issue learning licenses to citizens through post-placement patrol, service centers, as well as police stations, online systems, and applications. Facilitation must be provided.

IG Punjab Police Dr. Usman Anwar said that, as of now, they are introducing a new online system. One can benefit from the facilities, including an online driving license. Earlier, the system used to sit, but now, under the new online.net system, the fears of system collapse can be removed.
The online student application will be launched tomorrow, Sunday, at 6 p.m. After which, people will be able to obtain their learning license from home. IG Punjab police said that if anyone enters the wrong data for a learner license, he himself will be responsible, and we are also doing cross-verification for him. The online students feature will be activated on the Punjab Police app on Monday at 6 p.m. Citizens will be able to avail of this feature by downloading the Punjab Police app.
The online student facility will be available at the reception of 735 police stations across Punjab on Monday, December 10. The old 2003 system has been updated to the new 2023 model, and now the online functions of license renewal, duplicate license, and international license will be available as of December 17. IG Police Dr. Usman Anwar said that people have to wait in a long queue to get the regular license, not that thousands or millions of people have to get the license. IG Police said that currently, Punjab Police issues more than 100,000 licenses per day.
