Candidates must apply from across the country; however, successful candidates will be posted on Mianwali. WAPDA is hiring consultants, elevator operators, riggers, cleaners, and chowkidar on a contract basis.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s, master’s, masters or at least a mid-pass with experience in the relevant domain. The age limit is set at 18 years minimum to 30 years maximum. Experience will be preferred in these positions since merit will be monitored and ensured by management.
The Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority is an autonomous and independent body of the Federal Government of Pakistan that maintains water and power utilities in the state. It was established after independence through an act of parliament in 1958.
WAPDA owns the largest dams in Pakistan and actively controls and operates the demands and needs of Pakistan’s commercial and domestic sectors. It also plans to complete five more multidimensional dams to meet the growing needs of the electricity sector.
The aim of WAPDA is focused on developing clean and orderly energy that is affordable for the citizens of Pakistan to reduce the energy tariff with consumers in mind.
